Project Engineer - Global Regulatory Compliance

Responsible for achieving and maintaining regional product certifications and facility listings, serving as the primary technical liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and support product approval initiatives. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of applicable product standards and agency testing procedures Experience with product marking requirements Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Engineering background or Victaulic product knowledge a plus Preferred Skills: Experience working with certification agencies such as UL, FM, DVGW, CCCF, or similar Participation in standards committees and familiarity with global/regional codes and standards Knowledge of financial metrics related to cost of compliance and budgeting Responsibilities: Secure and maintain product listings, approvals, and facility certifications for existing and new products Establish, monitor, and manage product approval projects to meet deadlines Serve as technical representative and primary contact with national and local regulatory agencies Develop and maintain cost-of-compliance metrics, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives Provide technical guidance to Technology Managers, Project Engineers, and Product Managers on standards and testing Participate in and prepare for regulatory agency audits and follow-up actions Oversee factory production audits and address technical questions Represent the company on standards committees to influence code and standard development Execute additional related projects as assigned by leadership Pay Details: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
