Drafter - Part-Time

Airswift is seeking a Drafter to work within our client's chemical facility in Wichita, KS, for a 12 months assignment as a Part-time. Job Description Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and transport our products, as our highest priority. Support client Site with drafting needs. P&ID updates MOC action items for drawing modifications Simple design support for scope development Drawing searching Experience using/maintaining instrument database Coordinate drawing management activates using the client drawing management portal/program Adept. Check out drawings Check in drawings Ability to train in and lean the Adept drawing management system. Add new drawings to Adept both electronically and manually through a scanner/plotter Support outside engineering firm's drawing needs. Issue new drawing numbers in Adept Arrange for incoming/outgoing transfer of manual drawing to offsite facility Personal Qualities Capable of handling multiple projects at a time and multitasking Excellent communicator who can work with management to prioritize assignments Owns work load and meets commitments with minimal oversight from engineering manager Self-motivator who is willing to initiate communication between project team members to get their work completed Qualifications 10+ years or more of experience in related industry. Minimum 5 years of experience with engineering design group performing similar job duties. Experience officed within a plant working to support general plant needs and small capital projects. Must be able to develop strong relationships with plant personnel, managers, engineering, maintenance, and construction personnel. Proficiency in AutoCAD required Additional Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Microsoft Access, Project, and SAP a plus Drawing management system experience, preferably Adept Some experience with Micro-station a plus TWIC will be required
