Apprentice Carpenter

Apprentice Carpenter Job Description The Apprentice Carpenter will be responsible for the construction and building out of job site containers. This role requires comfort with flooring, metal stud framing, and other tasks associated with journeyman-level carpentry. Additional duties include demolition of existing containers, clean-up, interior preparation, and utilizing basic construction skills with power tools, hand tools, and saws. Versatility and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Construct and build out job site containers. Demolish existing containers and prepare interiors. Work with flooring and metal stud framing. Perform clean-up and basic construction tasks. Utilize power tools, hand tools, and saws effectively. Read and interpret blueprints. Demonstrate a strong grasp of drywall. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in rough or finish carpentry. Basic blueprint reading skills. High attention to safety. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC. Previous construction experience. Work Environment Work in a large gravel yard with various construction stations. The role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions. Physical activity, including working on hands, knees, and ladders, is required. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olympia, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
