Responsibilities :

• Adhere and promote company SAFETY measures at all times

• SAFELY operate equipment (hydrovac truck, backhoe, trencher, mini-excavator, auger, and forklift)

• Load and unload equipment and materials

• Prepare construction site and clean up when job is completed

• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, tampers, and rakes

• SAFELY drive trucks and pull trailers with equipment and materials to construction sites

• Perform routine/preventative maintenance and inspection on equipment

• Help clean and organize trucks and warehouse areas

• This position requires significant travel and will require you to be gone typically 3-4 weeks at a time (per diem and lodging provided!)

• Other tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic computer and math skills
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a Hydrovac
• Class A CDL (Tanker's)
• Must be able to pass DOT drug test and physical
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers and trucks
• This position requires significant travel (domestic only), and will require you to be gone typically 3 - 4 weeks at a time (per diem and lodging provided!)
• Able to work outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient operation of construction / excavating equipment in the corrosion control, pipeline construction, or utilities industry
• 1 year experience in excavating equipment operation
• TWIC card
