Our client in St Louis is an industry leader in Highway and Civil Construction and is currently looking for a Seasoned Heavy Civil Superintendent to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Line and Grade Work: Execute building layout and control tasks as required.
• Maintain Contract Documents: Assist in maintaining contract documents and electronic web-based records for field operations.
• Prepare Specifications and Documents: Aid in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Design Calculations and Plans: Establish design calculations and plans in accordance with guidelines, code requirements, and all applicable regulations.
• Review and Coordination: Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
• Project As-Builts: Assist in the preparation of project as-built requirements.
• Daily Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers to ensure project alignment.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential issues early and create action steps to mitigate them.

Minimum Background Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in site work, concrete structure, or site development.
• Proficient in using engineering software & tools – B2W, Primavera P6, Viewpoint, MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
