The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards . Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day field operations for multiple remodeling and construction projects.
- Crew Management: Lead, schedule, and supervise installation crews and subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
- Budget & Schedule Control: Maintain tight control of project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce company standards for workmanship and ensure all projects meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal utilization and cost control.
- Problem Solving: Address project challenges quickly to minimize delays or rework.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with customers throughout project execution to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
Required:
- 10+ years in home services operations, remodeling (exterior and/or interior), or construction management.
- Proven track record in crew leadership and delivering projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software and documentation tools.
Preferred:
- Experience with both residential and commercial remodeling projects.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.
- Familiarity with CRM and field management platforms.
