Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description
This Welder/Fabricator role is responsible for welding products and maintaining welding tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding and fabrication tasks according to company standards.
Maintain and ensure the safe operation of welding tools and equipment.
Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints to execute tasks accurately.
Understand and follow work order routings and instructions.
Layout parts using weld fixtures to prepare for welding.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding and fabrication.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and tape measures.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and understand work order routings and instructions.
Experience in layout of parts using weld fixtures.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic fabrication and weld shop. Hours for the position include 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays which may be phased out as the team expands. Alternatively, work 3rd shift from 6pm-4:30am Monday to Friday, or 12-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday with an additional shift premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ooltewah, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.25/hr.
