POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Director with the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily
Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Monitor building activities over Computer
Knowledge of VAV and BAS a plus
Highly skilled in electrical 120v and 480v
Experienced in low voltage DC
Accomplish Monthly PM's over facilities
Handle and direct various vendor
Comply every day job by Joint Commission standards
Ability to assist co-workers in larger scale jobs
In charge of ordering gasses for entire facilities
Monitor OR temps and humidities
Knowledge with heat pumps/jockey pumps
Daily checks to ensure boilers, air compressors , chillers are functioning correctly..
Use of power hand tools/ Also basic knowledge of regular hand tools
Daily checks water temperatures
Assist in fire drills
Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems (RTU) (AHU)
Run conduit and or MC to wire up mew machines
Run new circuits.
Troubleshot electrical circuits 120v 480v
Electrical and building and plumbing schematics
Mechanical knowledge
Flexibility in job duties
Communicate and co-operate with patient and co workers
Ensure every job is done with patient safety in mind every time
Able to multitask
Able to work in a group as well as alone
Some knowledge of plumbing helpful
On call rotation including weekends
Aid/guide in projects with infection control and patient safety maintenance
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the work of others who perform essentially the same work.May set priorities, schedule and review work, but have no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance and/or make pay decisions.
Education:High School Education, Required
Associate's Degree in related field, Preferred
Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
