Summary/Description: We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager with experience in Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar energy projects ranging from 2 MW to 25 MW. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who excels at overseeing construction activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and driving projects to successful completion. This position will require someone who can advise on tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day construction activities on C&I solar projects from pre-construction through commissioning. Ensure all site work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, site crews, and vendors to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control. Interface with internal teams and stakeholders to provide updates, flag risks, and recommend solutions. Advise on project management topics including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk mitigation. Support permitting, interconnection, and utility coordination as needed. Re construction drawings, technical specs, and change orders. Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are strictly followed on-site. Track and report on key construction metrics, including progress milestones and site issues. Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 2 years in the solar industry, preferably in C&I-scale projects. Proven ability to manage construction on solar projects of at least 2 MW, with familiarity in projects up to 25 MW. Solid understanding of solar PV systems, civil and electrical scopes, and utility requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated experience advising or collaborating with project management teams. Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, schedules (e.g., Gantt charts), and scopes of work. Working knowledge of OSHA standards and site safety requirements. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
