DESCRIPTION:

As a Superintendent ., reporting to the Project Executive, you will have the opportunity to:

Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

Assume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).

Assume responsibility for compliance of crafts and subcontractors with contract documents, efficient use of materials & equipment, and timely performance of the project schedule.

Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.

Assist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.

Support Site Specific Safety Plan.

Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.

Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

REQUIREMENTS:

Four (4) year Engineering, Construction Management or similar degree desired

20 years of supervisory field experience with large heavy civil infrastructure construction projects valued at 200 million plus.

Minimum of 10 years construction superintendent and/or craft supervision experience in new building and/or structure construction including, piles, concrete and structural steel.

Knowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.

Experience with City, State, Federal Government Clients preferred

Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft

MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid

OSHA certification, First Aid Certs

Excellent written and verbal skills
