We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Carpenter or Carpenter Assistant to join a residential remodeling team specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and custom woodworking. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their carpentry skills while working on high-end home renovation projects. Skills Construction, Carpentry, Framing, Hand tool, General labor, Repair, Finish, Hand and power tools, Tape measure, Framer Additional Skills & Qualifications Assist lead carpenters with framing, trim work, cabinetry, and general carpentry tasks Measure, cut, and install wood, drywall, and other building materials Help set up and clean up job sites daily Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Support custom woodworking projects including mantles, built-ins, and moldings Follow instructions and learn on the job from experienced tradespeople Maintain a clean and organized work environment Ensure work meets quality and safety standards 6 Months-3 years of carpentry or construction experience Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in residential remodeling Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day Willingness to learn and take direction Reliable transportation to job sites across Central NJ Strong work ethic and attention to detail OSHA 10 certification a plus but not required Experience Level Intermediate Level This is a contract to hire position out of Brick, NJ Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $35.00/hr.
