Welder/Fabricator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to produce finished welded parts from design packages. The ideal candidate will run jobs from fit-up to completion, ensuring high-quality results. Responsibilities Fabricate and fit-up welded parts. Perform MIG welding using FCAW and GMAW techniques. Read and understand weld symbols and drawings. Fit-up and weld pipes and pressure vessels. Fabricate pipes, including mitering, weld prep, and fishmouthing. Visually inspect welds for imperfections and pass NDE examinations such as PT tests. Grind weld preps and surfaces prior to welding. Complete tasks independently and collaboratively within small teams. Finish jobs within the required time frame. Essential Skills Vocational training in welding, ASME preferred. Ability to pass ASME 1G GMAW P1 and 1G FCAW P1/P8 weld exams. Proficiency in MIG welding. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Valid driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in welding and fabrication tasks. Ability to work under the guidance of a Welding Supervisor. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
