Construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Supervisor to oversee multi family construction projects across the five boroughs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple job sites while ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all codes and safety regulations.

The Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring contractor performance, coordinating with engineers and stakeholders, and ensuring all work meets contractual, design, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain two-week look-ahead schedules to align with project milestones.

Review, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings and specifications to keep projects on track.

Provide on-site supervision and inspection services, covering all trades including mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), structural, and site work systems.

Identify and document deficiencies in materials and workmanship; ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Manage contractor schedules, track progress, and review change orders for accuracy and impact on project delivery.

Travel between multiple job sites across the five boroughs (using company vehicle or public transit as required).

Communicate effectively with contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders in both English and Spanish.

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, building codes, and company safety policies.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive construction management or inspection experience with a strong focus on facilities projects.

Demonstrated ability to oversee all aspects of construction from initial planning through project close-out.

Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting MEP, civil, and structural drawings.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Project, or 3D modeling tools (any of these).

Strong understanding of industry standards, building codes, and safety protocols.

Excellent organizational and communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Valid drivers license with willingness to travel regularly to active job sites.

Preferred Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

Hands-on field experience with multiple trades and construction methods.

Ability to problem-solve in real time to keep projects moving forward.
