- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will lead project planning and implementation, develop project plans and communications using PMO templates, and manage resources to meet goals. Responsibilities include identifying issues, analyzing gaps, coordinating with teams and vendors, and ensuring timely, in-scope delivery. The position will manage dependencies, resolve conflicts, and track milestones using appropriate tools, while delivering reports, proposals, and presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS- Two (2) to five (5) years of full-time professional experience as a project manager, demonstrating expertise in project management skills and the ability to successfully deliver agency projects with defined and attainable goals.
- Extensive knowledge of PMBOK best practices and possession of a current project management professional (PMP) certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with state and federal government entities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications and Microsoft Project Management tools, with the ability to create project schedules including dependencies and resource allocations using standard templates.
- Solid experience in vendor management, leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across various organizations, aligned with the State's highest priorities.
- Comfortable engaging with senior state officials and contributing effectively to the advancement of state objectives.
- Able to operate with minimal supervision, exercising significant initiative and independent judgment.
DESIRABLE- Working experience with managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and procedures / technical guides.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Individual has experience in managing a project budget.
SCOPE OF WORK- Lead the project team to deliver the projects from beginning to project close.
- Drive planning, estimating, and facilitating training, analysis, and project implementation with project team (vendors, program staff and jurisdiction subject matter experts).
- Vendor, partner, and team management for successful implementation on time and in scope.
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget objectives meeting quality standards for a coordinated and successful implementation. This includes regular status reports on all objectives to the project sponsor and project teams; frequency determined by project sponsor.
- Assessment and mitigation planning for all project risks throughout the project lifecycle; well-defined strategies for working through issues.
- Lead all meetings and develop appropriate meeting documents.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
- Manage change management and deliverable management processes.
- Develop any necessary project management documents to execute the project deliverables. This includes presentations for executive leadership/project sponsor.
- Ability to think clearly and respond quickly to critical situations.
