Project Estimator A fast-growing regional firm is seeking a Project Estimator to support its expanding commercial project portfolio. This role is essential to maintaining project efficiency and ensuring accurate cost analysis across multiple job sites. Responsibilities: Lead the estimating team through the full bid lifecycle. Analyze drawings and specifications to determine scope and completeness. Develop full-scope estimates for projects. Identify risks and opportunities in bid documents and communicate findings to leadership. Coordinate bid strategy, schedule, and execution with internal teams. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing. Attend pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews. Maintain cost history and monitor actual vs. estimated costs. Manage subcontractor database and prequalification process. Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or field operations. Expertise in civil/site construction, structural systems, MEP systems, and casework. Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, Bluebeam, and estimating software. Strong analytical and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional site visits.
