Production/General Laborer

Cardinal Staffing is looking for General Laborers in Toledo, Ohio!
Youll assist with a range of physical tasks on the production floorsupporting manufacturing, material handling, and packing operations. Your role will be vital in maintaining smooth workflow and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.Pay is $16 per hour
Shift is 6am-330pm
Key Responsibilities

• Handle raw and finished materialsincluding corrugated paper, foam, cardboard, and woodby loading, unloading, sorting, and staging items as directed.
• Assist in operating or supporting machinery used in packaging processes (e.g., foam cutters, corrugation machines, presses).
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipping or further processing.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Participate in routine inventory checks and help track materials or finished product counts.
• Report production issues, equipment malfunctions, or inventory shortages.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of performing physically demanding work.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes/materials regularly (up to 50 lbs or as required).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and participate in training.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse settings is a plusbut enthusiasm and a willingness to learn can be equally valued.
