Project Engineer - Conveyance (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Boston, MA): Support engineering projects for sewer and watermain pipelines of large and small diameter systems including open cut construction, rehabilitation, relining, trenchless and tunneling. Perform planning and design of sanitary sewer, combined sewer, separated drain, potable water main and surface drainage systems. Prepare construction documents such as plans, details, technical specifications and cost estimates for general, existing condition, demolition, civil and geotechnical disciplines. Perform reviews and enforce quality controls for contractor submittals, requests for information, site observations, and other tasks on active construction projects. Coordinate the activities of field team members such as field investigators, resident engineers, specialty code inspectors, and discipline specialists in support of sewer, drain, and water infrastructure projects. Attend and document meetings with the Project Manager, client, contractor, stakeholders, and sub-consultants. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTM

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Urban flood relief systems including overland flow controls; Wet weather facilities including passive hydraulic controls, pump stations, or storage tanks; Potable water distribution systems; Interpreting and applying industry standards including AASHTO, ASTM, and AWWA; and AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoDesk Cloud Connector.

Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
