Job Duties

Responsibility / Duty

Work includes, but is not limited to, sanding of various materials such as wood, metal, masonry and previously painted surfaces to ready them for the primer and/or paint application.

Percentage Of Time 50 Responsibility / Duty

Finish surfaces such as wood, metal, masonry and previously painted surfaces by applying the proper coating of latex or oil based paints and urethanes.

Percentage Of Time 30 Responsibility / Duty

Repair minor plaster damage as needed to achieve a smooth and professional appearance.

Percentage Of Time 10 Responsibility / Duty

Keep tools properly stored and maintained.

Percentage Of Time 5 Responsibility / Duty

Carry out general shop housekeeping and keep materials stored in designated locations.

Percentage Of Time 5

Minimum Experience Required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

One year of the required experience in the following minimum qualification must have been on-the-job experience:

Three years of experience or training in the painting trade.
