Job Description We are seeking a skilled Revit Drafter to prepare detailed drawings from sketches and design information. The ideal candidate will use AutoCAD to create computer-generated engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness for engineers. Responsibilities
- Prepare drawings from sketches and general engineering information using AutoCAD.
- Create computer-generated engineering drawings following established standards and procedures.
- Review all work to ensure complete and accurate drawings are provided to engineers.
- Convert verbal and written information into computer-generated drawings.
- Operate a plotter to transfer developed drawings to an appropriate medium.
- Work independently and efficiently, maintaining schedules and managing deadlines.
- Assist with various projects and work with multiple project engineers.
- Review final drawings for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and principles.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Proficiency in making minor mathematical calculations.
- Proficiency with Revit and experience in 3D Revit Drafting (Civil, Mechanical).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Drafter with emphasis in civil type drawings.
- High school diploma or technical school training required.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
- Knowledge of GIS software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.
- Water/wastewater experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience in MEP Design and working with water treatment facilities.
