What Youll Do:This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level civil engineer with an interest in public and private sector infrastructure projects related to water and wastewater systems. In this role, you will support the planning, design, and coordination of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for both private development clients and public municipalities. Projects may include water distribution and storage systems, booster pump stations, water treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems and pump stations, and wastewater treatment plants. Key Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of design documents, engineering calculations, and technical reports.Support the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with project team members.Collaborate with and receive mentorship from senior engineers and project managers.Learn to perform engineering calculations and design tasks using industry-standard software.Participate in project meetings and assist with client coordination efforts.Help track project progress and support the team in meeting deadlines and quality standards.Coordinate with external agencies, subconsultants, and internal departments as needed.Assist in addressing basic project questions and resolving minor issues under guidance from senior staff. What Youll Bring:Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.EIT required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months. Familiarity using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative engineering team.
