Job Description We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with 5-10 years of commercial construction experience to oversee local job order contracts and municipal projects in the Phoenix area. This role involves managing overall project schedules, financial requirements, and ensuring successful project execution for profitability. Responsibilities
- Facilitate and manage the overall project schedules and financial requirements for assigned projects to ensure success and profitability.
- Assist with preconstruction efforts, including bid packages, trade buyouts, and the development, execution, and management of subcontracts.
- Oversee project execution, field staff, and resources, while maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and A/E disciplines.
- Develop, update, and manage the overall baseline schedule.
- Lead all project meetings from preconstruction through construction progress to project completion.
- Establish QA/QC initiatives and procedures for compliance with specifications.
- Perform cost management and forecasting on a monthly basis.
- Implement safety programs to establish and maintain a safe and injury-free work environment.
- Document and manage construction change processes for cost and/or schedule impacts with the client.
- 5-10 years of commercial project management experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Job Order Contracts and CMAR.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoDesk Build (PlanGrid), Microsoft Office Products, and Primavera P6.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with industrial, manufacturing, public works, health care, estimation, design, QA/QC.
- Knowledge of change orders, RFIs, and ground-up project experience.
