Location: Remote (Local to Charlotte, NC ; Atlanta , GA; Nashville, TN)
Pay: $74 - 83K Annually
Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Employment Logistics:
The Base Building Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational readiness of all physical building systems across multiple facilities within their assigned region. This role oversees the maintenance, repair, and improvement of dock doors, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, lighting, roofing, and other structural elements. The Base Building Manager partners with site leadership, vendors, and contractors to deliver cost-effective, compliant, and timely solutions while minimizing disruption to operations.

The Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4-8 years experience in related field
- Up to 50% Travel
- It is the responsibility of every position to understand and adhere to the security guidelines outlined in OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy and to conduct their activities accordingly.
Your Mission in Motion:
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all base building systems, including dock doors, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and structural elements.
- Manage regional vendor relationships, negotiate service agreements, and monitor contractor performance.
- Develop and execute annual maintenance plans and budgets for assigned facilities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify facility issues, safety hazards, and capital improvement needs.
- Coordinate and oversee capital projects, from scope development through execution and closeout.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Real Estate teams to align facility needs with business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, warranties, and repairs.
- Respond to emergency facility issues and coordinate rapid resolution.
