Welder Pay/Shift 1st and 2nd shift are available. 23-26/hr Job Description The welder is responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. The role involves utilizing welding equipment to repair discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes. Responsibilities Perform various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations. Manufacture products according to customer drawings and specifications. Utilize welding equipment to repair discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes. Maintain welding equipment and tools. Conduct process inspection, certification, and documentation. Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools. Utilize various hand tools and mobile device applications. Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards. Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor. Essential Skills Proficient in assigned welding techniques. Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.). Experience with conventional and precision measuring instruments. Ability to use manual and power tools for finish grinding. One year of experience in various forms of welding is preferred.
