Shop Foreman

Harper Companies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Foreman to oversee our maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and the ability to make informed decisions regarding vehicle repairs

Supervise daily activities within the maintenance shop, ensuring all work aligns with company standards and DOT regulations.

Evaluate vehicle conditions and determine appropriate repair actions to maintain safety and compliance.

Coordinate with drivers and other departments to schedule maintenance and minimize operational disruptions.

Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Implement and uphold safety protocols, fostering a secure working environment.

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance or repair facility.

In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.

Strong decision-making skills with the ability to assess repair needs effectively.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Proficiency in maintenance software and record-keeping practices.
