Essential Role Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operation of TIG welding equipment and fixtures, troubleshoots and makes adjustments as necessary. .
- Performs secondary welding processes including, but not limited to: polishing and grinding metal to achieve proper surfacing, weld cleaning, and sand blasting.
- Develops and maintains fixtures and shadowboxing.
- Maintains inventory accuracy and raw materials.
- Verify material thickness as called out on material pick list
- Capable of using measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
- Remove tabs, remove PVC coating from parts, and de-burr parts after cutting as necessary
- Identify improvements and suggest Continuous Improvement ideas to fabrication leadership. Help in driving improvements to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, increase throughput.
- Basic organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to differentiate colors, use basic hand tools, use calipers and squares, read engineering blueprints, bill of materials.
- Action and detail oriented, results driven, ability to make decisions, work independently and as a team.
Essential Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma and/ or G.E.D; additional education (preferred).
- 1-2 years fabrication experience and knowledge in foodservice manufacturing industry (preferred).
- 1+ years experience with TIG welding equipment

- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand at assembly work cells for up to 4 hours at time
- Must be able to lift/carry/pull up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to perform Team Lift to lift/pull/push/carry up to 80 pounds
- Work Conditions are normal for a fabrication manufacturing environment
- Work environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety goggles, steel toe shoes/ boots, hearing protections, protective sleeves, gloves, and aprons
Pay Range: $25.02 - $31.28 per hour. This role is bonus eligible. The actual pay rate for this position will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
