Torch Technologies is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer interested in working in a technically challenging environment with a multi-discipline team. The position will provide the candidate opportunities of working with Indirect Fire Protection Capability and growing in other aspects of the position as needs arise.
- The candidate will execute and create sensor tests, perform analysis, verify requirements and run and create simulations to enhance the support of the Missile Defense Agency's sensor systems.
- Perform a variety of tasks including operating radars (AN/TPY-2, CDU, SBX & UEWR), analyzing performance from HWIL, flight and/or ground test data, and coordinating design of subsystems and the integration of total systems.
- The candidate will conduct element and system level analysis utilizing the full suite of Missile Defense Agency sensors.
- The candidate will be expected to develop circuits and analyze the circuits performance providing creative solutions while growing technically through challenges.
- Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex hardware devices and/or systems.
- Diagnoses malfunctions in existing products and makes improvements or modifications to produce desired results. Compiles and evaluates design and test data and prepares technical specifications.
- Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products and/or processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. The degree must be from an accredited university.
- 2 years applicable hardware design engineering experience.
- The candidate should have experience in the following topics related to Systems Engineering (design, development, hardware, software, modeling and simulation, tool development, verification, documentation, program support and Infrastructure support).
- Experience in Counter Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is desired.
- The position requires that candidate hold a secret level security clearance to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
