Metal Fabricator

Meta Designs a architectural metal fabrication company are seeking qualified full-time fabricators/welders experienced in layout, fitting, and welding. We design, fabricate and install showcase stairs, rails, architectural elements and large kinetic installations including moving walls, windows, and roofs.

Accurately cut, grind, and layout a wide variety of materials including, plate, tube, pipe, channel, and angle.

• Perform high quality MIG and TIG welds
• In depth knowledge of welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Read and understand shop drawings
• Perform final assembly to produce high quality finished products
• Skills and experience with gears, bearings and moving parts are a plus but not required.

• Must have a good work ethic and desire to produce high quality product for our clients.
• Candidate will layout, cut, fab and install fabricated stairs and railings.
• Punctual and maintain a good attendance record.
• Must have confidence to fabricate from shop drawings.
• Committed to safety and shop cleanliness.
• Must have a positive attitude and be able work within the team.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional skill as a custom metal fabricator.
• 3-4 years of metal fabrication experience.
• Must have general construction experience.
• Mig, Tig and stick welder experience.
• Valid drivers license.
• Show understanding of shop drawings.

Additional information

• 4 Day work week Monday- Thursday 6 am 4:30 pm.
