Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Scheduler to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for developing high-level integrated schedules for our 10 Regions, 2 Centers, and the National Program Office and assist Project Managers to develop construction schedules for their particular Region or Center.

T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities that support the FAAs Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and certain reimbursable programs, the FAA NextGen Program, national security programs and aviation safety. Specifically, work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAAs nine regions as well as the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey and in several U.S. territories. An average staff of 500 with a peak staff over 650 supports this contract, in addition to those subcontractors who perform construction work.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serve as scheduling lead for Parsons nationwide FAA Technical Support Services Contract (TSSC) program, responsible preparing integrated schedules for each of the 10 Regions and 2 Centers
  • Assist Regional/Center Project Managers to develop construction schedules and schedule updates for subcontracted Davis-Bacon and in-house construction projects using MS Project or other platform depending on client needs
  • Responsible for assisting Regional/Center Project Managers for review of subcontractor construction schedules and providing detailed review comments, and if applicable, recommending schedule adjustments to accelerate progress or to better reflect actual conditions and limitations.
  • Leverage resource-loaded integrated schedules to advise National and Regional managers on future staffing needs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • At least 12 years of construction scheduling experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Excel required.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with great communication skills.
  • Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by Federal Authorities will be performed.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) Credential desired.
  • Construction project / project management experience desired.
  • Bachelors degree desired.
