Job Description

The Specialist, Builder Shared Services reports to the Director, Builder Customer Service. The Specialist, Builder Shared Services is an individual contributor role on the Builder Accounts Services team. This role is responsible for administrative duties, managing builder national rebate program, setting up new accounts, and assisting with escalated issues. This role is expected to provide team continuity and assist in project management.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Facilitate approval and processing of pricing agreements
  • Collaborates with key leadership to ensure customer set up and maintenance is accurate
  • Process special pricing agreements, such as rebates, credits, and charitable contributions
  • PO creation and tracking in Oracle to support Service Centers
  • Post documents and maintain forms on marketing repository
  • Responsible for assistance with compliance documentation
  • Sales Administrative support - set up and maintenance of Sales Representatives
  • Create and distribute reports (sales, profitability, variances, etc.) on a regular basis
  • Project management as requested
  • Create and maintain process and procedures for all aspects of role
  • Create and give presentations for training purposes
  • Provides back-up support for other functions as may be assigned
  • Involve appropriate stakeholders in decision-making processes
  • Participate in company efforts related to ethics and compliance activities
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the time and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This includes typing, clicking, and writing. Frequently positions self to maintain information in drawers and shelving. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information. Ability to read documents, emails, and computer screens, as well as see details on printed materials and presentations. Consistently works in an indoor setting. While traveling, the individual in this position needs to occasionally move about on the plant floor when going on plant tours and engage face to face with process and control owners. Occasionally moves items weighing up to fifteen pounds across plant floor for various needs.
