Join our dynamic Maintenance Team as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, where you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you'll tackle troubleshooting, preventative, and predictive maintenance across a variety of industrial systems-including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical-ensuring our equipment stays reliable, efficient, and safe.

Location: Onsite Portsmouth, NH

What you will be doing:

• Execute facilities start-up routines.
• Monitor status readouts of primary systems and take appropriate actions to ensure safety and reliability. Examples include water PH adjustment systems and filter press cleaning
• Contributes to production efficiency by responding to maintenance calls as assigned, and either repairs or defers action to supervisor for decision.
• Capable of executing basic troubleshooting and repairs of electro-mechanical systems such as like AC/DC motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, sensors, valves, hoists, and general industrial equipment used in a manufacturing environment.
• General facilities maintenance tasks pertaining to plumbing, welding, lighting, painting, light carpentry, general upkeep of the facility.
• Completing work orders and equipment rebuild tasks as assigned.
• Completing special project action items by assigned dates and priorities. Examples are installation of new equipment, infrastructure upgrades, equipment modifications and improvements.
• Interactions with CMMS system to document work executed, time, spare parts usage, place orders for parts.
• Executing Scheduled Preventative Maintenance and Unscheduled Maintenance in compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
• Accommodating shifting schedules and overtime as needed to meet the needs of the business. Examples of this are providing support to production overtime and plant shutdowns.
• Support plant initiatives conducive to a safe, secure and clean workplace. Participation in safety program.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Sitting and standing for extended periods of time, subject to noise and heat conditions on a regular basis.
• Lifting to 50 pounds.
• Combination of reaching, stretching, and twisting motions encountered on a frequent basis.
• Working on hard surfaces, ladders, under and around equipment.

Skills you will need:

• High School Diploma/GED/Technical School Education or equivalent work experience
• 2+ Years of Work Experience in an Industrial Environment or Trade Experience
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Detail oriented
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, database and internet-based programs)
• Ability to follow instruction provided by team lead or senior level technicians
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
