Well paid gig for someone with some electrical experience - solve a light fixture not working. WHERE: Condo in Bath, ME. For your sake I hope you are close by or it is an easy trip. WHAT: Key light fixture (small/medium flush mount ceiling fixture at top of stairs) somewhat-mysteriously stopped working 6 days ago. It is LED fixture (so bulbs have not been tested/replaced) which is connected to two switches (one at bottom of stairs, one at top). Fuses have been checked and various switch-flipping configurations tried - no success. Likeliest cause of problem - a cleaning team took the glass cover down to be cleaned, and after the did so the fixture does not work. My first guess is some stupidly small thing, like a wire losing contact, occurred while they were accessing and just needs to be corrected. It might be a five minute fix. If not related to that, my *extremely-mildly-educated-guess* is that two highly likely possibilities are - 1. Fixture simply needs to be replaced (it is cheap, big box store fixture, I will have a similar new replacement on hand if you decide replacement is the way to go - I honestly don't care if new or existing fixture is in place, but I need it to work). 2. Some other fairly-simple (to someone with some experience) wiring issue (like something became disconnected within one of the switches for example). Please note: there is no step ladder on site, ceiling is not terribly high, but please bring your own step ladder and other basic supplies you might need. WHEN: I am somewhat flexible on when, except that it be soon (withing the next 4-5 days at latest) and it *must* be during the AM hours (any time before noon, including early if necessary). FYI I will have an hour drive to meet you. Best mornings for me would be this coming Monday or Tuesday, but I could also do tomorrow/Saturday or Sunday if necessary.
