Responsibilities Assist in the pickup, delivery, processing, shelving and recycling of surplus university property. Assist in the maintenance of the surplus warehouse, the surplus yard and in other duties assigned by storekeepers, and/or management. Requires the frequent loading and unloading of trucks. The disassembly of electronics and other equipment may be required. Driving of trucks and a pickup truck will be required. Trucks do not require a Commercial Drivers License. Minimum Qualifications Must be a current University of Utah student. The ability to move or manipulate heavy objects; the ability to read and write in English; demonstrated human relation skills; and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required. A knowledge of inventory control procedures would be helpful. A valid Utah Driver's license with proof of insurability may be required for persons in positions that require delivery.
