Fabrication Welder $22 - $28 an hour Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our millwright team. This role involves MIG wire welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials up to 1 1/4" thickness. The ideal candidate will have experience working from blueprints to fabricate industrial components such as conveyors, augers, legs, tanks, and other custom equipment. You will also operate various fabrication machinery including CNC brake press, plasma cutter, and manual shear. Responsibilities Perform MIG wire welding on stainless and carbon steel materials up to 1 1/4". Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication plans. Fabricate and assemble components such as conveyors, augers, legs, tanks, and custom millwright structures. Operate fabrication equipment including CNC brake press, plasma cutter, and manual shear. Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy. Essential Skills Proven experience in MIG welding (stainless and carbon steel). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient with a tape measurer. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with machining, mechanical power tools, and hydraulics. Familiarity with CNC operations and program editing. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a fabrication shop with a blue-collar culture where hard work is valued. The team consists of 5 people who share a love for outdoor activities such as deer hunting. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., totaling 50 hours a week. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
