Location: Mooresville, NC (report daily to Charlotte warehouse, travel across NC & SC)

Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Carpenters / Firestopping Crew Members for large commercial projects across North and South Carolina. This role involves restoring fire/smoke containment systems in commercial buildings. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable traveling with the crew.

Work Scope Includes:

• Restoring fire/smoke containment in walls, floors, and ceilings of large commercial buildings

• Using hand tools such as drills, caulk guns, pumps, measuring tapes, and spatulas

• Following detailed instructions with accuracy and attention to detail

• Working at heights on lifts and ladders

• Lifting 45+ lbs regularly

• Traveling overnight (typically 1-2 nights weekly; hotels paid, no per diem)

• Supporting general commercial construction work as needed

• Following all safety rules and site protocols

Requirements:

• Basic commercial construction knowledge required

• Commitment to safety practices

• Comfortable working on lifts/ladders and at heights

• Ability to lift 45+ lbs

• Must report daily to Charlotte warehouse (own transportation required to warehouse; company transports crews to job sites)

• Must pass E-Verify, background check, and 10-panel drug screen

• Tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, vest, steel-toe boots)

• Temp-to-perm hire opportunities available - training provided for qualified candidates
