Join Collins Aerospace as an entry level Project Engineer , and work with the Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) Supplier Design Equipment (SDE) Team . This role requires a strong foundation in classical Project Management, including action tracking, status reporting, task monitoring, risk management, and professional meeting conduct.

Success in this position relies on exceptional interpersonal skills, as youll collaborate with teammates to solve challenges, drive progress, and facilitate cross-functional teams. You will also independently manage project plans, track status updates, and oversee action items to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the EACS SDE Team, assisting in project execution and coordination.
  • Manage Supplier Request for Information (SRI) processes, ensuring timely responses and accurate data tracking.
  • Apply Project Management principles, including action tracking, status reporting, task monitoring, and risk management.
  • Facilitate professional meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, solving challenges and driving project progress.
  • Maintain project plans, status updates, and action items, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, supporting quality assurance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Electrical Engineering background and Electrical Engineer Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in specialized collaboration and time management software, including spreadsheet applications.
  • Fundamental knowledge of project management principles, ensuring smooth coordination of tasks and resources.
  • Understanding of core engineering concepts, with the ability to apply technical knowledge in practical scenarios.

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
