Salary: $105,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually

Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer - Wind
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Work Location: Onsite in Bloomington, MN

About the Role:
Our client is seeking experienced Geotechnical Engineers who are subject matter experts in renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and transmission. You will lead moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects, providing technical expertise to support the development of sustainable energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geotechnical engineering projects in the renewable energy sector, primarily wind energy
• Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
• Conduct engineering analysis and prepare geotechnical recommendations and reports
• Review field logs and soil samples; prepare boring logs
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and safety
• Perform quality reviews and resolve internal/external quality issues
• Coordinate with regional teams to manage resources and workloads
• Support client relationships and ensure expectations are met or exceeded
• Conduct field testing and technician training as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or related Engineering field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within two years
• 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing preferred
• Experience with large-scale construction projects is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 15%

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or in teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
