The Project Engineer would be responsible for technical solutions, ensuring efficient execution and task completion on time and within budget. A key capability for this position is the ability to work independently while also leading others.

responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership : Lead the engineering execution for cross-functional teams and serve as the main technical point of contact for the Program Management Office.

  • Project Oversight : Manage the engineering team's performance to meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements.

  • Technical Baseline : Own and maintain the project's technical baseline, which includes managing requirements, specifications, drawings, test plans, and procedures to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Customer Relations : Support the Program Office and build relationships within the customer's technical community.

  • Data and Change Management : Manage the customer's technical data package and implement strict change management controls.

  • Problem Resolution : Identify and resolve obsolescence issues to prevent delivery and production delays.

  • Planning and Execution : Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned engineering projects. This includes creating procedures, plans, and schedules, as well as providing input on budget, cost, and timelines.

  • Risk Management : Develop and implement plans to mitigate project and technical risks.

  • Communication : Ensure clear written and oral communication with internal teams and the customer.

  • Supplier Relations : Specify and evaluate components, subsystems, and services from suppliers.

  • Design & Proposals : Drive design-to-cost and design-for-manufacture requirements and participate in preparing proposals.

  • Mentorship : Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other cross-functional team members.
