Job Summary:

The Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence by managing and planning complex projects, as well as serving as a liaison between customers, sales and operations. This position will work closely with project team members to handle all New Machines (DC01 - KOSME) sales orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate all phases of project management for KOSME projects. Perform a variety of project management tasks in the design and planning, manufacturing, procurement, project execution, and closeout phases.
  • Conduct risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
  • Provide continuous supervision of projects to meet schedule, quality, and budget requirements.
  • Answer customer questions related to the KOSME product line.
  • Maintain key project dates in SAP that will be tracked and monitored during all phases of the project.
  • Interface with both regional sales managers and vice presidents to utilize available resources for obtaining information necessary to solve customer problems and assist with product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Requires domestic and foreign travel (15 - 40% of the time).

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of related experience in sales/engineering/project management.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering preferred.

Professional Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite, SAP applications, and Krones Portfolio.
  • Knowledge of business administration, process and structural knowledge, market knowledge, and knowledge of policies, directives, guidelines, and standards.
  • High degree of communication skills; above all the capability of preparing and presenting formal presentations as well as presenting written proposals and plans.
  • Strong knowledge of KOSME product line, packaging line concepts, various packaging equipment, and packaging equipment suppliers.

Soft Skills:

  • General social skills, capacity for teamwork, customer orientation, learning aptitude, problem-solving competence, time- and self-management, coordination and organization skills, communication skills, and negotiation skills.

Candidates should live within a commutable distance to the office, as relocation assistance is not provided. After the initial training and onboarding, this role offers a hybrid work schedule: three days in the office and two days working from your U.S. home office. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
