Quality Control and Assurance Jobs in Wisconsin
A Quality Control and Assurance specialist in the construction industry is responsible for overseeing all activities and tasks needed to maintain a desired level of excellence. This includes creating and implementing a quality plan to ensure the final product meets the client's specifications and regulatory requirements. They monitor the production process, inspect and test materials and products, and work to improve an organization's efficiency and profitability by reducing waste. They ensure that the company's products and services meet and exceed customer expectations.
Important skills for this role include strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an excellent understanding of quality control standards. They should have knowledge of relevant software and be proficient in data analysis and statistical methods. Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence could be beneficial. Prior to becoming a Quality Control and Assurance specialist, individuals may have roles such as a Site Supervisor, Project Engineer, or Quality Inspector in the construction industry.
