Transportation Engineer

We are looking for a Civil EIT with two or more years of transportation (public sector) infrastructure experience to join our team. We are looking with a strong Civil Engineering foundation interested in learning the design aspects for multiple types of engineering projects, including Roadway, Transit, and Utilities. The candidate will develop conceptual layouts, preliminary engineering and final design for transportation projects and will work with other team members on large, multi-discipline projects.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Horizontal and vertical alignments
• Grading and Drainage design
• Streetscape and roadway improvements
• Support analysis, plans production and other technical activities
• Transit design; including track and bus infrastructure
• Attend and participate in project team meetings and provide guidance to entry-level engineers

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of relevant work experience
• Have a BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
• EIT certification
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Desired
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team
