The CAD Technician is responsible for creating professional As-Builts for clients that are an accurate visual representation of work completed in the field.

Reports to: Regional VP of Operations, Northeast Region

This is an in-office position, 5 days per week, in the Holmdel, NJ office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive Daily Reports to create As-Builts for clients (approximately 50+ per week).
• Interpret information from the Daily Report to determine what to incorporate into the As-Built product.
• Direct any points requiring clarification to the Project Manager.
• Create professional As-Builts using AutoCAD software.
• Re-distribute final product to the Project Manager.
• Store and track all Daily Reports for unfinished and pending jobs.
• Manage workload and prioritize As-Builts based on client/project needs.
• Adheres to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 - 5 years of CAD experience, CAD Certification or CAD college-level coursework.
• Microsoft Office experience - Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Auto Sketch, PDF Converter, and MS Paint.
• Construction Industry experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and be flexible.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
