Le gestionnaire de projet principal Construction est charge de diriger toutes les activites liees a la construction neuve et/ou a la renovation des Centres de Distribution de Produits Pharmaceutiques et Medicaux de McKesson et des Projets de Bureaux Corporatifs au Canada. Le candidat doit etre pret a voyager/livrer des projets similaires aux Etats-Unis selon les besoins. Cependant, l'accent sera mis sur le service des projets de McKesson Canada. Le perimetre comprend la budgetisation, la passation de contrats, la supervision des efforts de construction et la gestion des attentes des clients.

Description du Poste

L'objectif de ce poste est de diriger des projets industriels et de bureaux multidisciplinaires individuels depuis la definition des exigences, l'acquisition jusqu'a l'achevement de la construction. Les principaux axes de livraison de projet incluent la gestion d'equipe et des personnes ainsi que la portee, le budget, le calendrier, la qualite et la gestion des risques pour votre portefeuille de projets. La capacite de travailler avec les cadres dirigeants et le personnel sur des projets de bureaux d'entreprise est requise. Le poste necessitera la gestion de projets appropries aux Etats-Unis et necessitera des voyages en consequence.

Responsabilites Cles :

  • Gerer tous les aspects de la gestion de projet (definition de la portee, budget, calendrier, approvisionnement, qualite, securite et attenuation des risques) pour vos projets.
  • Developper des plans de projet complets avec des objectifs clairs, des livrables et des delais necessaires pour atteindre les objectifs du projet.
  • Aider l'equipe a comprendre leurs responsabilites et a escalader en temps opportun les conditions hors tolerance.
  • Interagir regulierement avec toutes les lignes de service en plus des partenaires internes et externes pour assurer le succes du projet et de l'equipe.
  • Reconnaitre que l'equipe et le projet doivent reussir pour atteindre votre objectif.
  • Communiquer efficacement avec tous les participants/parties prenantes du projet pour assurer l'alignement et la comprehension partagee des objectifs, roles, responsabilites et attentes du projet.
  • Developper et mettre en uvre des plans d'action pour anticiper et corriger les ecarts. Anticiper et repondre aux besoins et preoccupations du client et de l'equipe projet. Identifier les risques potentiels du projet et developper des strategies d'attenuation.
  • Aborder proactivement les problemes et les conflits pour minimiser l'impact sur les delais et la qualite du projet.
  • Exploiter les plateformes partenaires pour securiser et renforcer notre proposition de valeur. L'innovation est cruciale pour le succes.
  • Engager et gerer les parties prenantes internes et externes.
  • Rechercher en continu une comprehension des departements internes de McKesson, des objectifs organisationnels et des priorites strategiques (c'est-a-dire durabilite, milieu de travail, bien-etre des employes) et aligner de maniere appropriee la strategie de livraison du projet.
  • Demontrer une comprehension complete des politiques et procedures de gouvernance d'entreprise de l'entreprise.
  • Superviser la preparation de rapports precis, opportuns et complets.

Qualifications du Poste :

  • Minimum de 7+ annees d'experience progressive pertinente. Une experience dans la construction de centres de distribution et de bureaux est requise.
  • Diplome de baccalaureat (BA/BS/Beng/BArch) requis d'un college ou d'une universite, dans un domaine d'ingenierie connexe (genie civil/mecanique/electrique), gestion de la construction, gestion des installations, architecture ou domaine connexe. requis
  • Maitrise de l'anglais et du francais.
  • Solide experience en gestion de projet dans le developpement de plans de projet et un historique prouve de succes en gestion de projet avec des projets de construction (neuf et renovation).
  • Forte presence executive avec experience dans le developpement et la livraison de presentations de niveau executif.
  • Capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites et parties prenantes.
  • Capacite demontree a construire des relations transversales, a motiver, influencer et obtenir l'engagement a tous les niveaux de l'organisation.
  • Capacite demontree a comprendre des problemes d'affaires complexes et a creer un programme pour soutenir les solutions et la conformite.
  • Expertise dans les outils Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Experience de gestion et de collaboration avec des equipes indirectes a tous les niveaux de l'organisation.
  • Methodologies d'amelioration des processus et experience efficace en gestion du changement.

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager Construction is responsible for leading all activities related to the ground up construction and/or renovation of McKessons Pharma and Medical Products Distribution Centers and Corporate Office Projects in Canada. The candidate must be willing to travel/deliver similar projects in the US on an as-needed basis. However, the emphasis will be on
serving the McKesson Canada projects. Scope includes budgeting, issuing contracts, overseeing the construction efforts and managing the customers expectation.

Position Description

The purpose of this position is to lead individual multi-disciplined industrial and office projects from building the requirements, acquisition through construction completion. Key project delivery focus areas include team and people management along with scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management for your portfolio of projects. The ability to work with C-suite executives and staff on
corporate office projects is required. The position will require the management of appropriate projects in the US and will travel as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of project management (scope definition, budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety and risk mitigation) for your projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans with clear objectives, deliverables and timelines as required to achieve the project objectives.
  • Help the team understand their accountability and timely escalate out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Interact regularly with all service lines in addition to internal and external partners to ensure success for both the project and the team.
  • Recognize that both the team and the project need to be successful to accomplish your goal.
  • Communicates effectively with all project participants/stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project goals, roles and responsibilities and expectations.
  • Develops and implements action plans anticipate and to correct variances. Anticipates and responds to the client and project teams needs and concerns. Identity potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues and conflicts to minimize impact on project timelines and quality.
  • Leverage partner platforms to secure and enhance our value proposition. Innovation is critical to success.
  • Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Continuously seek an understanding of McKessons internal departments, organizational goals and strategic priorities (i.e. Sustainability, Workplace, Employee Wellness) and appropriately align the project delivery strategy.
  • Exhibits a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 7+ years of related progressive experience. Experience with both distribution center and office construction is required.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Beng/BArch) required from College or University, in a related engineering field (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), Construction Management, Facilities Management Architecture or related field. required
  • Must be fluent in English and French
  • Strong project management experience in developing project plans and proven track record of project management success with construction (ground up & renovation) projects
  • Strong executive presence with experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships, motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and create a program to support solutions and compliance
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience managing and collaborating with indirect teams at all levels of the organization
  • Process improvement methodologies and effective change management experience
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to excel in dynamic work environment
  • Strong communication (listening, oral and written) and facilitation skill
  • Masters degree in Business/Engineering (asset)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (asset)

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. $82,400 - $137,400
