Designer urbain senior / Senior Urban Designer

Requirements:

• Training in architecture, urban design, urban planning, landscape architecture or equivalent;
• Member or in the process of becoming a member of the following associations or orders: AAPQ, OUQ or OAQ or others, an asset;
• Knowledge of the design and implementation of detailed development plans for real estate developments, development of spaces or public places, neighborhood scale, regional territory scale (general representation);
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both official languages;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Google SketchUp and graphic rendering software (VRay, Escape, etc.), Office suite;
• Excellent knowledge of architectural design or equivalent, for urban design projects;
• Skill in 3D representation, by hand and by computer, for various scales of urban design projects, including architectural representation details.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Creative professional with a developed sense of design;
• Innovative in its approach and in the search for solutions;
• Ability to work and manage multiple files within short deadlines;
• Autonomous, motivated, rigorous, strong sense of organization and leadership, spirit of initiative and synthesis, ease in communicating with team members;
• Environmental certification, an asset (LEED, SITE, WELL, etc.)
