Applications are now being accepted in the Office of the Personnel Manager, Town Municipal Offices, 100 Fairway Drive, North Kingstown, RI for following position:

Public Works Highway Division- Equipment Operator

Responsibilities: Ability to operate trucks and equipment skillfully, safely, and according to traffic laws and regulations in all weather conditions. Ability to operate dump truck for general maintenance and with a plow and sander for snow removal. Ability to detect needed repairs and to make necessary simple adjustments to automotive equipment. Ability to work long hours outdoors and to withstand exposure to adverse climatic conditions.

Qualifications: Must obtain a RI Commercial Drivers License, CDL-B drivers license within first 9 months of employment. Must perform manual labor and related work as required. High school diploma or GED.

Salary: $45,719 - $56,305
