and Expectations - CarpenterAA/EOE*Local Bridgeport Residents and Ex-Felons encouraged to apply.*Updated March 2025Duties and ResponsibilitiesPunch in/out on the Exaktime App.Cut and assemble lumber and/or steel for exterior and interior framing.Be able to read drawings and layout partitions per plans.Cut, hang and drywall.Install window frames and windows.Install door frames, doors, and hardware.Install insulation.Install trim, cabinets and other finish work.Install acoustical ceilings.Follow instructions from the job foreman.Follow all safety procedures and guideline.Assist with keeping the job site and work areas clear of debris.QualificationsMust have and maintain current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card.Must have 10+ years of experience in commercial steel framing and drywall.Use various hand and power tools,Use electric scissor lifts and follow safety procedures while on the liftHave certifications to for scissor lifts and lull license.Familiarity with checking lifts, ladders and other tools for safety and defects prior to useUse line and rotating lasers, powder actuated fastening tools.Working ConditionsWork outside in cold and hot temperaturesWork in unfinished spaces that may not have heat or air conditioningWork on lifts, scaffolding, and ladders for long periods of timePhysical RequirementsCarry/lift material up to 55 poundsClimb ladders as needed[]{style="font-size: 7pt; f"}
