We are a New York-based construction management firm specializing in high-end retail and commercial interior fit-outs. We are seeking a well-rounded, dependable individual to join our field team as a skilled laborer with hands-on experience across multiple trades.
This full-time W2 position is ideal for someone who can support our superintendents and project teams with both general labor and skilled construction tasks. The right candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily jobsite cleanup and maintenance
- Receiving, unloading, and organizing deliveries
- Assisting trades and superintendents with day-to-day tasks.
- Carpentry, framing, and light demolition
- Taping and compound work (Level 4/5 preferred)
- Basic concrete patching and tile work
- Punch list and close-out support
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of general construction experience
- OSHA 40 certification (required)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Familiarity with tools, materials, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Reading construction drawings is a plus
- Strong reliability, work ethic, and communication skills
