The Paver Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the asphalt paver, delivering a smooth, level mat that meets project specifications. Youll work handinhand with the screed operator and ground crew to lay hotmix asphalt on highways, streets, parking lots, and more, ensuring continuous material flow and consistent production.

• Operate the asphalt paver to achieve the proper depth, width, slope, crown, and crossslope.

• Coordinate with the screed operator and ground crew to maintain consistent paving speed and material feed.

• Monitor paver functions, controls, and material levels throughout the paving process.

• Perform daily prestart inspections and basic preventative maintenance on the paver.

• Follow directions from the foreman or superintendent to meet production goals and schedule targets.

• Uphold all company safety policies and maintain a clean, hazardfree work environment.

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating asphalt pavers on roadway or commercial paving projects.

• Proficient in reading grade stakes and interpreting plans for slope, crown, and crossslope.

• Familiarity with major paving equipment brands (e.g., CAT, Volvo, Roadtec) preferred.

• Reliable, safetyconscious, and a strong team player.

• Valid drivers license and dependable transportation.
