Job Summary

• A Siding Installer is responsible for the custom installation of siding material under the daily direction of the Siding Foreman. They will also be responsible for supporting an excellent homeowner experience and exceeding their expectations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Siding Foreman with removal and installation of new siding. This process will involve tear off old materials, installation of Foam/Tyvek, starter striping, J-Channel, LP or Vinyl Siding, and window trim.
• Learn, maintain, and grow skills and knowledge of installation process which will include operation of a brake and ability to properly install soffit and fascia.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Maintain assigned equipment, report & correct problems.
• Provide and maintain personal tools and equipment.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Contribute to overall job site efficiency.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the Siding industry is required.

Required Skills

• Valid driving license required and a clean driving history preferred
• Experience with power tools, saws and metal brake are preferred.

Work Environment

• Physical demands are typical to those of construction work. They can demand regularly lifting or moving 50 lbs and up to 90 lbs with assistance. Climbing ladders. Using power and hand tools. And more.
• Working conditions require the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. And frequently requires the use of personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to noise, heights, and hazardous materials.
• The work schedule is typically Monday - Friday starting at 7:00am to 5:00pm and can vary based on the job scope and season.
• 95% travel required in and around Dane County. The remaining 5% is on the road or at our Waunakee Warehouse.
