Job Summary:
Installs, tests, and repairs electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances. Reads blueprints, electrical diagrams, and shop drawings; runs conduit; sizes and pulls wire as required to install a complete and working electrical system. Performs additional related duties as required to meet project schedules including clear communication with supervisor and assisting co-workers in the construction department (not limited to electrical work only, you will be required to help other trades in times of need) . Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.
Performance Expectations
- Demonstrates the ability to plan and install electrical systems and devices based on construction documents.
- Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot routine electrical issues and provide corrective measures.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform assigned electrical repairs to building systems such as lighting and power issues as well as make repairs to equipment.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills
High school diploma or GED required.
10 years of progressive experience on a commercial basis may substitute for the required education
Work Experience:
5 years previous related work experience required. An Associate’s Degree or trade school degree in the field of electricity, electrical installations, or electrical systems may be a substitute for experience.
Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
- Valid Drivers License
- Maintain a Good Driving Record

Ability to follow directives, works with other crafts within the industry, and demonstrates initiative.
