Formwork Carpenter - County Materials

We are seeking a Formwork Carpenter for our customer, County Materials in Green Bay, WI.

This position involves a series of tasks and demands pertaining to the manufacturing of concrete pipe box structures.

Starting Wage $23.00+/hour based on qualifications/skills.

Job Duties:

• Build, form, and cast concrete structures according to product plans.
• Perform a combination of the following duties: overhead crane, placing mold sections and aluminum box forms, placing reinforcement according to design

Work Environment:

• Work in indoor conditions
• Work near moving machinery and equipment
• Work in a noisy environment

Physical Requirements:

• Carrying / Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequently
• Carrying / Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally
• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting / Crouching / Kneeling / Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and measuring devices
• Strong understanding of construction blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Safety-minded when performing tasks
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Experience as a Formwork Carpenter or similar role desired
